I was never good at writing. But strangely, I have been writing for as long as I can remember.
At a young age, I developed a habit to write instead of speak.
The first person who suggested I should share my writing was a pastor who was mentoring me. She instructed me to send her an email of my thoughts/reflections every week. She wouldn’t respond but it would be a way for me to get my thoughts out there and know that someone was reading it. She said she didn’t expect much but after a couple of emails, she said she was surprisngly impressed and blessed.
That was about 6 years ago. I haven’t heard anyone mention anything like that to me again until November 2018 by a few people.
So, I took it up to God. Because the truth is, I was scared. I ain’t no Michelle Obama nor someone of great influence for anyone to care two cents about.
“God, I have nothing to say.”
” What if no one reads this?”
“What would be the point of all this?”
“What are people going to say?”
I was scared and anxious. I’ve never shared any of my writings publicly.
As I have been praying and preparing, God has continually reminded me of His goodness and faithfulness.
The truth is, I don’t really have anything significant to share with you all. But maybe, through me, God has something significant to share with you.
As you walk with me, I pray that this blog will be a place where as I share my life and journey of faith, it could bring you hope, comfort, faith, empowerment, and life.
A place where we can do life together
And to ultimately…
live FAITHFULLY SEEKING HIM… together.
